DESCRIPTION:Silkstone Waggonway\, Barnsley S75 4LU. 10am. General walk. \nMeet outside Riley’s café at 10am. Note: there is a larger car park towards the rear of this site. There is a café but booking is recommended\, but there is no picnic area here. The walk along the Waggonway is across a busy road\, so care should be taken. There are two options – walk to the end of the Waggonway and return the same way; or continue over the bridge\, which takes you up the hill and back down to the road. This extension can be muddy if it has been wet so boots or wellingtons are recommended. \n
